Position Description:
Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electricalmaintenance work of a skilled and complex nature. Installs, repairs, andmaintains manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfactoryoperation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic andcombustion malfunctions and operating difficulties. Determines repairprocedures and implements those repairs that will be effective in preventingreoccurrence.
Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipmentfaults.
Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots.Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
Installs, moves, and aligns new and existing equipment.
Sets up and operates various types of machine shopequipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Performs both gas and electric welding operations.
Completes related machine repair records, performsassociated handling duties, and maintains work area in a neat and orderlycondition.
Performs all necessary preventive and proactive tasks onplant equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisionand/or designated team leader.
Skills Required:

Experience Required:
Months of experience specific to this position (explain)48 months of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, andWelding. A Maintenance Technician A level must be proficient attroubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLCs andelectrical and hydraulic schematics.

Education Required:
Must be able to apply principles acquired throughtechnical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses)
Additional Information:
Manager is looking to direct hire this position if it isthe right candidate. Pay rate up to $37.00/HR not more than that depending onthe candidates skill set and experience Sign on bonus is also available.effective upon hire or conversion with the signing of a promissory note for 1year.
