The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the hiring and scheduling of NBC Sports staff, daily hire and freelance technical personnel to work on remote productions. Inclusive of contacting the requested engineers to check their availability, negotiate their rate, and hire all positions before the event.
• Coordinate with Technical Managers, Operations leads, and Production Managers to obtain necessary information to create accurate crew sheets for remote productions
• Relay all crew event info to the Production Managers in a timely fashion so they can assist in all travel logistics in a cost-efficient manner
• Support Operations/Production in resolving last minute scheduling/crewing issues
• Provide support for the payroll process for each event
• Manage internal personnel (SCORE) system, inclusive of initiating & monitoring onboarding process for new hires
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the internal personnel system (SCORE)
• Anticipate and communicate issues to management team to resolve quickly
• Proactively address issues which arise during course of production
• Perform other related duties as needed

Qualifications

Basic

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5+) years’ experience in crewing/scheduling experience; sports broadcast/NBA experience preferred
• Knowledge of crewing
• Knowledge of union rules

Desired Characteristics:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and associated tools, and internal personnel system (SCORE)
• Extremely organized, detailed oriented, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills
• Solid analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to partner with all levels across the business
