JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The US Marketing & Events Coordinator provides essential support to the Marketing & Events Team Lead in executing marketing initiatives and events. This role focuses on logistics, content creation, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth delivery of campaigns, trade shows, and promotional projects. The Coordinator works closely with the central marketing department in Germany and supports the Sales & Service teams locally.

Essential Functions

1.       Event Support : Assist with planning, logistics, and execution of trade shows, industry events, and internal events such as holiday parties, luncheons, and more.

2.       Content Creation : Develop marketing collateral, social media posts, and newsletters in collaboration with the Manager. Support photography and videography needs by capturing photos and videos at events, in-office activities, and for marketing campaigns as required.

3.       Administrative Support : Schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and manage marketing materials (brochures, giveaways, trade show equipment).

4.       Vendor Coordination : Assist in managing vendor relationships and advertising contracts

5.       Community Engagement : Help maintain relationships with industry organizations and local partners

6.      This position will work in close proximity with our central marketing department in Germany.

7.      May occasionally be asked to attend trade shows on-site.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, there may be times where the employee will be required to bend or stand, with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule. Employees are expected to work during the company’s “core” hours of 8:00am to 3:45pm, Monday through Friday.

  • In-Office Presence: A regular cadence of onsite work is required (e.g., 2-3 days per week or as determined by the Manager), particularly for meetings, events, and collaborative projects.
  • Remote Work: On non-office days, employees may work remotely, provided they remain accessible during core hours and maintain productivity standards.

Travel

Occasional travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Associate’s degree or two-year marketing certificate with relevant experience
  2. 2+ years marketing experience, preferably B2B or in manufacturing environment
  3. German or other language a benefit, but not required
