About the role

As Marketing Director, you'll be a foundational member of Kings League in the US, utilizing your experience to contribute to the wider global marketing team. You'll drive brand growth and fan engagement in the U.S. market by creating and executing impactful, data-driven marketing strategies. Your primary goal will be to generate awareness , expand the fanbase , and establish a robust marketing plan across paid, earned, and owned media channels all with a strong B2C focus.

This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior, cultural trends, and key moments throughout the year to maximize brand impact and commercial results. You'll lead and direct the build out of the Kings League US marketing team and work to build emotional connections with fans and convert those into measurable audience growth .

Main Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning
    • Design and execute Kings League's U.S. marketing strategy to drive B2C growth , audience engagement, and brand awareness.
    • Localize global brand positioning for the U.S. market and define emotionally resonant brand storytelling.
  • Team Leadership & Budget Management
    • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team , fostering collaboration and development.
    • Manage and optimize the U.S. marketing budget , tracking ROI and adjusting spend based on performance and market insights.
  • Audience Growth & Consumer Insights
    • Lead audience acquisition and engagement campaigns using insights on fan behavior and preferences.
    • Segment audiences and create personalized strategies.
    • Activate campaigns around key U.S. cultural and sports moments (e.g., Super Bowl, Spring Break, Holidays).
  • Integrated Campaigns & Media Management
    • Plan and execute full-funnel marketing campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and traditional channels with strong B2C impact.
    • Balance paid , owned , and earned media to maximize reach, efficiency, and performance.
    • Lead paid media planning and grow owned channels (social, email, website).
    • Collaborate with PR, influencer, creative, and content teams to deliver engaging, insight-led campaigns.
    • Continuously analyze performance, test, and optimize campaigns.
  • Revenue Growth - B2C Products
    • Partner with e-commerce, merchandising, and licensing teams to drive product sales.
    • Develop campaigns for product launches , exclusive drops, and seasonal promotions.
    • Increase conversion, average order value, and customer retention , aligning with brand standards and retail impact.

  • Technical Knowledge
    • Marketing automation, CRM, e-commerce analytics (GA4, Shopify, Klaviyo).
    • Digital/social ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok).
    • Influencer marketing and partnerships ; merchandising/licensing a plus.
  • Experience & Qualifications
    • 10+ years B2C marketing , ideally in sports , entertainment , fashion, or youth culture.
    • Proven track record in growing communities and driving consumer revenue .
    • Bachelor's in Marketing/Business/Communications; Master's preferred.
