Material Handlers for a fast-paced production and warehouse environment. This is a
full-time opportunity for experienced, safety-minded candidates who thrive in physical roles and are confident operating multiple types of forklifts.
This position involves
loading and unloading heavy items from a conveyor belt , moving product throughout the facility, and ensuring materials flow smoothly to support production and shipping operations.
Responsibilities As a Material Handler, your daily duties will include:
- Unloading and loading heavy items from conveyor belts safely and efficiently.
- Operating forklifts including:
- Sit-Down Forklift
- Stand-Up Forklift
- Reach Truck
- Cherry Picker / Order Picker
- Transporting raw materials, finished goods, and pallets to designated areas.
- Staging product for production lines or outbound shipping.
- Performing basic inventory movement and verification using RF scanners or warehouse systems.
- Maintaining a steady workflow in a fast-paced warehouse/production setting .
- Completing quality checks on materials during movement to prevent damage or misloads.
- Keeping work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Communicating with leads/supervisors regarding shortages, damages, or process issues.
Requirements - Forklift experience required on Sit-Down, Stand-Up, Reach Truck, and Cherry Picker equipment.
- Prior material handling, warehouse, or production experience required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items consistently throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working near and around conveyor belt systems .
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Dependable attendance and consistent work history (tenure preferred).
- Ability to follow instructions and meet production goals.
- Must pass pre-employment screening (drug screen/background check if required by client).
Skills & Qualifications - Proficient multi-equipment forklift operation.
- Strong material handling and pallet movement skills.
- Inventory awareness and ability to follow staging/flow processes.
- RF scanner or warehouse system experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management, pace, and communication skills.
Shifts & Hours - Full-time schedules available
- 1st / 2nd / 3rd shift options may be available depending on facility needs
- Overtime may be offered based on workload
