Position: Medical Assistant/Clinic Assistant Float 

Location: North/Central Denver Metro Area, Including Denver (Lowry), Denver Highlands, Broomfield, Lakewood

Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week (four 9-hour days)

 

Do you hold a degree in the sciences (i.e., Nutrition, Sports Medicine, Biology, Chemistry, Kinesiology)? On the job training provided!

Join the largest, private, allergy and asthma practice in the Rocky Mountain Region and enjoy a fast-paced, patient-focused, friendly and fun atmosphere. We have been treating adult and pediatric patients for 51 years who suffer with allergies, asthma and immunology-related illnesses.

Position Purpose: This non-exempt, full-time position is responsible for direct and indirect care of adult and pediatric patients under the direction of the physicians, Clinic Manager and Office Administrative Manager. We are looking for a positive, experienced, responsible individual to contribute depth & knowledge to our busy practice.

 

Responsibilities:

• Shows competency as a Medical Office Assistant
• Shows competency in Clinic Assistant I and II Skill Modules within 120 days of employment; Clinic Assistant III Skill Modules within first year of employment
• Shows competency in basic computer skills
• Assures patient satisfaction by working as a team member with all personnel
• Demonstrates flexibility, professionalism and a high-level of motivation
• Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment with all departments and all levels of personnel
• Takes initiative and is a self-starter
• Performs additional duties as deemed necessary
• OSHA and HIPAA Compliant

Prerequisites:

1. Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant School or
2. Licensed Medical Technician, or Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or
3. Combination of experience and education
4. Current CPR Certification
5. Understanding and cross-training abilities to the front desk a plus
