Music Director - First Community Church UCC Dallas (Part-Time, In person and/or virtual) First Community Church UCC Dallas is seeking a Music Director to lead our musical worship and coordinate with our percussionist specializing in World Music. The position involves: Leading the first Sunday of each month in-person worship at 11 am in Dallas. Negotiating for virtual options such as live Zoom sessions or recordings for other Sundays. Collaborating with musicians and possibly a small choir based on your interest. Our church is a progressive, diverse, financially stable, Open and Affirming (LGBTQ+), accessible to all, and justice-seeking community that values music, dance, and theater. Applicants with experience or education in these areas are encouraged to apply. Both local Dallas/Fort Worth and virtual applicants are welcome. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Performing Arts, Music, or equivalent experience in church music, choral music, African American spirituals, or world music.
