Job Overview

The Night Auditor oversees financial and administrative activities during the night shift, requiring attention to detail, organizational skills, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with late check-ins and early check-outs, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Process check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, and maintain accurate records.
• Complete administrative tasks like filing, data entry, and report preparation.
• Compile and distribute nightly reports, verify guest accounts, and reconcile revenue.
• Post charges and payments, perform end-of-day financial reconciliation.
• Monitor premises for security, respond to emergencies.

Skills and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience.
• Experience in hotel front desk or guest services.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions

Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machinery.

Additional Information

Position is entry-level, full-time, in the hospitality industry, management and manufacturing function. Location: Baltimore, MD. Salary range: $37,500 - $56,000.
