Since our inception in 2020, we have experienced remarkable growth. Originally focused on math, we now offer tutoring in ELA, sciences, languages, test prep, computer science, and business math, in addition to core math subjects.
Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified and enthusiastic math tutors to join our dynamic team. Tutors can choose from a variety of math topics, ranging from elementary to college level.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate professionally and promptly with students, parents, and our team.
Assess students' current understanding of the subject matter.
Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs.
Provide clear and engaging instruction to facilitate effective learning.
Monitor student progress and offer feedback and support.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure student success.
Manage your schedule efficiently to meet student needs.
Foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of professional tutoring experience, including at least 1 year of online tutoring.
Strong subject matter expertise in the areas you will be teaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with online tutoring tools and technology.
Ability to engage and connect with students, making learning enjoyable and inspiring.
Patient and empathetic approach to addressing student struggles.
Reliable internet connection, computer/laptop, stylus pen, and headphones.
Professional, quiet environment for conducting tutoring sessions.
U.S.-based bank account and valid SSN.
Available for at least 10 hours per week, with 70% of availability during peak hours (Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 11pm Eastern).
