What's The Job.

We are looking for an experienced District Sales Manager (DSM) to lead sales efforts across Northern Nevada and the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a remote role for a self-motivated sales professional already established and living within the territory.

You’ll be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and supporting distributors, engineers, and OEMs with technical and commercial expertise. The DSM will promote Asahi/America’s industry-leading thermoplastic valves, actuation, and piping systems while strengthening customer relationships and uncovering new opportunities.

What You'll Do.

  • Execute a strategic territory plan to achieve or exceed sales goals.
  • Develop and grow relationships with distributors, engineers, and end users.
  • Conduct joint sales calls, training sessions, and technical presentations.
  • Provide commercial and technical support to secure project specifications and close orders.
  • Manage CRM activities to track opportunities, forecast sales, and report market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and product support.
  • Represent Asahi/America at trade shows and industry events to promote brand visibility.

What You'll Bring.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Distribution, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of technical or industrial sales experience, with proven success in B2B or channel sales.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic valves, piping systems, actuation, or fluid control technologies preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

Why You’ll Love Working Here.

Join a company where innovation and reliability go hand in hand. At Asahi/America, you’ll have the independence to manage your territory, the support of a trusted brand, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on our growth.

Quality products. Trusted partnerships. Proven success — that’s Asahi/America.

Compensation Transparency.

The pay range shown represents what we expect to offer in good faith for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will depend on several factors—such as education, experience, certifications, skills, performance, shift, location, and business needs. We review our ranges regularly to ensure fairness and market competitiveness.
