Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.00 | Year 3 - $20.50 | Year 4 - $21.60 | Year 5 - $22.10

Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate important information to your direct leader.
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data related to your responsibilities.
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers during their experience.
• Offer feedback to management regarding products, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock for accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure fresh merchandise is available.
• Follow merchandising planograms for appealing displays.
• Organize new inventory and manage packaging waste.
• Operate machinery safely, following all related protocols.

Store Associate Responsibilities:

• Assist with Curbside Shopping orders.
• Take on both cashier and stocker responsibilities as required.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly engage in physical activities including standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the store.
• Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves of various heights.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to company standards.
• Effectiveness in interpreting and applying company policies.
• Excellent verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good time management skills.
• Familiarity with the company’s products and services.

Additional Requirements:

• Cashiers must be able to efficiently operate a cash register.
• Must comply with local and state laws regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
• Stockers need morning availability, with shifts beginning as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is an advantage.
• A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is also acceptable.
