Pride Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our client’s medical facility based in Seattle, WA 98115 . This is a 3+ month contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration: 3+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Payrate: $23-25/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Shift: Mon - Fri (Business Hours).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and obtaining necessary documentation.
  • Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone with a professional and compassionate demeanor.
  • Conduct patient outreach calls to schedule appointments, including preventive care visits, follow up on care plans, and address outstanding needs.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments, ensuring accuracy in patient records.
  • Meet outreach, scheduling, and preventive care quality targets and measures.
  • Serve as a primary resource for resolving patient inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and update electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Support training and onboarding of new patient service staff members.
  • Generate reports and assist in operational improvement projects.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service setting highly preferred.
  • Experience in an outpatient clinic or similar healthcare setting preferred.
