The Pharmacy Technician assists in processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and troubleshooting insurance claims while providing compassionate customer service. This role requires pharmacy technician certification or state registration in some locations and involves working flexible shifts including weekends. Note to applicant: In some of the states in which we operate, certification and/or state registration is required to work as a Pharmacy Technician. In these areas Wegmans may hire individuals prior to them obtaining the necessary qualifications, while supporting them through the process. At participating locations, Board Certified Pharmacy Technicians will earn a $.50/hour shift differential.
