Staff Management Group is seeking a Picker/Packer for our client in Plainfield, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7AM - 4PM

Pay Rate:

• $17 / hour 

Job Summary:

The Picker/Packer is responsible for supporting order fulfillment operations in a high-end clothing distribution center. This role involves carefully handling premium apparel, ensuring accuracy, quality, and presentation standards are met in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in working with luxury merchandise.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pack high-end apparel and accessories according to order requirements
• Perform VAS (Value-Added Services) including folding, hanging, and sensor-tagging garments for retail display
• Inspect items to ensure they meet luxury brand quality standards
• Assist with inbound and outbound processing of new seasonal collections
• Handle merchandise carefully to prevent damage and maintain presentation quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all warehouse procedures, quality guidelines, and safety standards
• Support general warehouse operations as needed

Job Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift heavy items as required
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
