ob Objective:
Develop and implement pipeline and flowline compliance programs in accordance with federal and state
regulations.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a service-oriented attitude to develop and maintain programs and procedures that support
asset team goals and achieve effective compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintains completion status of required pipeline regulatory related training including operations and
maintenance, emergency response, control room management, and liquified natural gas.
Prepare training plans and packages, rosters, and documentation for field implementation. Responsible
for training implementation across all asset teams and fields.
Ensure that all pipeline system components requiring routine O&M activity are identified and
maintained, including valves, vaults, atmospheric corrosion locations, PSVs, rectifiers, and CP surveys.
Facilitate annual reviews and updates on Operations, Maintenance and Emergency Response manuals.
Coordinate reviews by subject matter experts and affected personnel to ensure timely completion.
Perform effectiveness reviews of specific procedures annually with field operator personnel.
Perform annual review of Operator Qualification (OQ) program. Coordinate and communicate OQ Plan
updates and act as point of contact for program questions and inquiries. Responsible for OQ plan,
tracking, and field implementation.
Support Federal and State pipeline audits and inspections, including tracking of audit preparation
activities and collection of audit question response data from various program managers and field
coordinators (i.e. Integrity, Corrosion, Inspections, CP, etc). Prepare audit preparation packages for use
during audit. Facilitate final review of audit preparation information and documentation prior to audit
date.
Perform federal DOT/PHMSA and state regulatory reporting. Gather and compile required data and
review for accuracy and applicability. File and maintain all monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual
reports.
Qualifications:
Five (5) years minimum experience oil and gas industry and/or pipeline integrity and compliance,
preferably in Alaska.
Experience in Federal and State regulations related to Pipeline operations (e.g. DOT/PHMSA, ADEC)
preferred, including skills in auditing, reviewing, reporting and recordkeeping of regulatory required
files.
Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Preferred: Microsoft Project, Sharepoint, ISNetWorld, Veriforce, New Century, PODS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information
into an organized and presentable manner.
This position requires travel to field facilities and other offices, as well as work in outdoor and industrial
facility environments, to validate field conditions and establish and maintain good working rapport with
operations personnel.
