Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Podiatrist to join our team to treat patients in their homes. As a Podiatrist, you will diagnose and treat conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. You will work with patients of all ages, providing comprehensive care to improve their mobility and overall foot health. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet, ankles, and lower legs Diagnose and treat various foot conditions such as bunions, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, and fungal infections Prescribe orthotics or other devices to correct foot abnormalities Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments A medical assistant will drive and accompany you to all patient visits Requirements Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school Valid state license to practice as a Podiatrist Experience in providing PTSD care and senior care is preferred Familiarity with home care settings Knowledge of medical records management and documentation standards Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology Ability to develop effective care plans for patients Basic life support (BLS) certification If you are a dedicated Podiatrist looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your patients, we would love to hear from you.
