The Company is in search of a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of strengthening the community by connecting people, resources, and needs. Experience in philanthropy, fundraising, and supporting an active Board is essential. The ideal candidate for the CEO position at the company will have a background in community leadership, philanthropy, and fundraising, with a preference for extensive experience in the community foundation sector. They must be adept at managing complex financial and investment strategies and be a proactive leader who can utilize appropriate management techniques for the benefit of the organization. High integrity, commitment, and sensitivity are crucial, as is the ability to engage with diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and build rapport with individuals of varying viewpoints. The role demands a leader who is an active listener, a creative problem solver, and who can lead and grow a professional team while cultivating a dedicated Board of Directors. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree or continuing education in a related field. The candidate should be politically savvy, patient, and collaborative, with a proven track record of building consensus and reconciling differing perspectives.
