Amazon Shipping is looking to hire a data-driven, customer-obsessed, and visionary Principal Program Manager to lead the new Change Management function within Amazon Shipping. This role will be pivotal in managing all product and program changes within our dynamic and rapidly growing shipping vertical. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills, adept at driving transformation and ensuring seamless integration of changes across the organization.

Key job responsibilities

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy for Amazon Shipping.
2. Lead and oversee the end-to-end change management process for all product and program changes.
3. Ensure alignment of change management activities with the overall business strategy and objectives.
4. Drive program objectives – operationalize launch plans by ensuring stakeholders are aligned to program details and business requirements, manage implementation activities across a large group of stakeholders, and develop and execute launch plans of new products and processes.
5. Scale services, tools, and processes that will enable the business’ growth in volume, complexity, and geographic dispersion while still maintaining a high bar for the customer experience.
6. Collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams to identify the impact of new fleet initiatives and successfully integrate and deploy them, ensuring seamless execution and process excellence.
7. Develop clear and thorough program/process launch announcements for impacted internal and external stakeholders, including program announcement, FAQs, and program resource guides.
8. Relentlessly advocate for Shippers and strive to simplify and improve their experience and that of their drivers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 7+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
2. 7+ years of program or project management experience
3. 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
4. Bachelor's degree
5. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
2. Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
