Our client, a leading operationally focused private equity firm, is seeking a talented Private Equity Associate to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time role with offices in Los Angeles, CA, or Washington, DC , and offers the chance to work on impactful investments in the middle-market space.

About Our Client:

Established in 2018, our client specializes in control investments across the business services, TMT, and industrials sectors. They partner with companies generating revenues between $15 million and $125M and are actively deploying capital from various investment vehicles.

Position Overview:

The Private Equity Associate will play a key role in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, supporting capital raises, and managing portfolio companies. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a background in investment banking, consulting, or private equity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Due Diligence: Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis for potential acquisitions.
• Capital Raising: Prepare investor materials, including pitchbooks and term sheets, for prospective limited partners.
• Deal Execution: Lead transaction execution, including negotiation, structuring, and legal documentation.
• Deal Sourcing: Identify investment opportunities through conferences and proprietary outreach.
• Portfolio Management: Collaborate with portfolio companies to review performance and implement value creation plans.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in private equity, consulting, or investment banking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• Strong financial modeling skills with experience in M&A, leveraged finance, or restructuring.
• Excellent academic record, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
