As a Product Development Project Manager:

What you will do:

Ensure the successful execution of multiple, simultaneous new product development projects
Oversee and participate in discussions to clearly define the project scope which will include cost targets, product features, deadlines, etc.
Lead multiple cross functional (engineering, supply chain, operations, product management, etc.) teams in methodologically addressing urgent issues & proactively defining task sequences and key milestones to ensure timely decision-making and task completion
Facilitate and guarantee clear communications between project team members, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure productive outcomes
Orchestrate all activities required for prototype builds including collection, categorization, and prioritization of feedback to drive efficient design iterations
Collect and record key information from meetings, emails, and other media and ensure proper documentation practices are followed by project team members
Effectively mediate between conflicting departments, stakeholders, or project team members to determine an agreeable direction
Prepare and deliver executive level communication summarizing project progress
Proactively analyze and provide suggestions for improvements related to project management processes, tools, and resources

Required Qualifications Include:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager with experience leading complex projects within a manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s degree (in Engineering related field is preferred)
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong understanding of product development processes, tools, methodologies, and best practices
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proven leadership within a matrix organization
Ability to inspire innovation and motivate others
Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications Include:

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
Experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes
5 + years of experience in Project Management
Experience with Smartsheet work management software
