Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Production Supervisor.

Foundation Level Manufacturing Leadership Role, Building Materials, Columbus, Ohio Area

An international leader in the manufacture of residential and commercial building materials has an urgent need for a limited/entry level experience Manufacturing/Production/Leader at their key located in the Columbus, Ohio area manufacturing facility.

Known as the “Biggest Small Town in America” the Columbus area has a low cost of living and is home Ohio State University, “The Buckeyes” Columbus has a rich arts scene, and outdoor activities.

Tremendous growth potential at local sister plants as well as regional, national, and international locations.

Ideal experience will include:

• BS/BA degree in engineering, business or related areas is a must.
• Production/Manufacturing leadership in an industrial manufacturing environment is a plus!
• Candidate should have strong people skills with the ability to bring a “coaching” style of management. An ideal candidate should be personable, a collaborator, a good team builder and the ability to mentor. Should have experience overseeing hourly workers.

Additional Ideal experience/leadership traits include:

• Proactive leadership approach.
• Proven ability to change the attitudes/behaviors of your employees.
• Direct experience in safety training/job training personally instructing your employees.

Strong technical skills such as Lean, Continuous Improvement and KPI’s. Must be able to interpret/analyze the data and make decisions be strategic/tactical and adjust.
