Job Description Job Title: Project Manager Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin Company: STS Technical Services Full or Part-Time: Full Time Job Summary STS Technical Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a highly skilled engineering staff while ensuring company objectives and goals are met. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to facilitate communication among clients, customers, and engineers. Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate communication among clients/customers and engineers, ensuring specifications, budgets, and deadlines are clearly communicated and understood. Serve as project manager for multiple projects, creating timelines and cost projections, organizing collaborative meetings, and ensuring projects comply with specifications, timelines, and budgets. Review work and projects for technical accuracy. Establish, implement, and maintain administrative policies and procedures according to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Work as Designer/Engineer on projects as needed. Develop and review 3D CAD models in SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, and other software. Simplify purchased items to a usable file size. Create mechanical layouts and routed assemblies between main components. Add fabrication details to support drawings. Utilize surfacing part design methods. Engineering Systems Exposure Sheet metal design Large welded structures Hydraulic systems (open and closed circuit) Pneumatic systems (low pressure, high volume) Mechanics (linkages, gearbox assemblies, etc.) New product development Ergonomic studies Additional Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, materials, and best practices to continually improve product lines and production efficiency. Assist with additive manufacturing projects as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Thorough understanding of engineering theory and design criteria. Thorough understanding of applied math and physics. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software. Education and Experience Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering required. 4+ years of related experience required. 1+ year of project management experience recommended. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
