Job Description
Commercial Roofing - Project Management
Visiting multiple job sites weekly; conducting roof inspections and meet with clients to assess completion, address any concerns and many other tasks on site.
Be able to review proposals, and contracts to accurately and make adjustments based on these documents to execute a project contract.
- must be able to read blueprints and specifications.
Compute cost factors used for planning, organizing, scheduling work, selecting vendors and/or subcontractors, and determining cost-effectiveness.
Consult with Estimator for every job the Project Manager will manage to have knowledge of the manufacturer, and specefic requirements for the job.
Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and processes of improvement.
Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements for all change orders.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. The Project Manager must be able to set up a ladder and get on the roof to collect data. Must be able to bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs if necessary.
Request material quotes for all projects when necessary.
Manage Superintendents and roofing labor contractors
- Work closely with the estimator.
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
