Atlantic Staffing Consultants has immediate openings at the recycling facility in Wilmington, NC.

Weekly Pay & Overtime.
This is a Regular Full Time Job

Duties of a Recycling Sorter :

• Sort and segregate recycled waste items (e.g., aluminum, plastic, paper, etc.) from incoming material.
• Deposit recoverable items safely and efficiently into appropriate chutes.
• Assist other sorters on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items.
• Empty trash cans as needed.

Requirements of a Recycling Sorter:

• Ankle High Steel Toe or Composite Boots are required.
• Heavy Lifters must be able to lift 65lbs
• Recycling Sorters must be able to lift 20lbs
• Must be able to work over 40+ hours per week – making extra money with Overtime is required . Average is 60 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience needed / entry level candidates are welcome.
• Strong work history is a plus. Resumes must contain a work history to be considered. If you have no work history, explain why.
• Reliable transportation. This job is not located on a bus route!
• You must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, such as hot summers and cold winters, similar to working outside.

Hours & Pay of a Recycling Sorter:
Monday - Thursday, 6 AM – 6 PM
Friday, 6 AM - 4 PM
Saturdays as needed (work schedule is subject to change)
Average of 50+ hours per week
Starting pay is $12.00 an hour and the overtime pay is eighteen dollars an hour
