Base pay range $60.00/hr - $65.00/hr Release Manager – API Gateway Location: Spectrum Plaza, Denver, CO Hybrid: 3-4 days onsite/week Long Term Contract Overview Our telecommunications client is seeking a skilled and proactive Release Manager to join our fast-paced API Gateway organization. This team plays a critical role in securing and managing access to the web services, supporting multiple workstreams across maintenance, new features, tech debt, and migration efforts. You’ll be the central point of coordination for packaging and deploying releases across four distinct workstreams, ensuring smooth delivery to internal clients with minimal downtime. This is a high-impact role requiring strong stakeholder management, planning, and DevOps fundamentals. Key Responsibilities Release Planning & Coordination: Own the end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring timely and well-orchestrated deployments across multiple teams. Execution & Deployment: Manage CI/CD pipelines and execute builds into lower environments. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and leadership to align release priorities and timelines. Risk & Stakeholder Management: Identify critical vs. non-critical items, mitigate risks, and communicate clearly with internal clients and stakeholders. Technical Oversight: Understand Git workflows, Kubernetes basics, and AWS deployment fundamentals to support release activities.
