Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team , and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced environment. As owners, we are looking to take a small step back & acquire the right person to help manage our very successful, family operated restaurant that has been a staple of San Angelo for 42 years. We have a well-oiled machine, we need the right person to oversee it. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of Restaurant Manager experience, possess a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in food preparation, customer service, and management. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food quality and service, managing BOH & FOH staff effectively, and driving the overall success of the restaurant. Must be able to work very closely with the owners. Hours will be discussed during the interview process, however, if you have been in the Restaurant Management industry, you know it is alot of hours.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by training and mentoring staff to deliver a positive dining experience.
  • Manage inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Utilize CAKE POS systems for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures that are in place, to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular inspections of food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Management (references will be checked)
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and best practices in managing stock levels.
  • Proficiency in using CAKE POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of managing diverse teams effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with staff & customers.
  • Must be able to work closely with the owner in all aspects.
  • Must be dependable & flexible.
