The RN - CVL Pre Op & Recovery is responsible for caring for patients recovering from anesthesia after cardiac procedures. This role involves preparing patients for cardiac catheterization, monitoring vital signs, providing post-procedure care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate must have an Associate Degree in Nursing along with required certifications and a state nursing license.
Overview:Presbyterian is seeking an experienced Critical Care nurse to join the Cath Lab Pre Op and Recovery Team.
The CVL Recovery Room Nurse cares for patients who are recovering from anesthesia after surgery. They monitor post-operation vital signs, assess levels of consciousness, and carefully observe patients for any side effects from anesthesia.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and providing post-procedure care in our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
• BLS, PALS & ACLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
