SALES ADMINISTRATOR
Reports to: Sales Vice President and President
Job Type: Full-Time Hourly –Non-Exempt
Job Overview: The Sales Administrator will serve as the point of contact for customers (both internal and external) regarding queries about products and services, as well as provide frontline support to our company sales representatives. This position will also support the marketing of our company in their primary and administrative duties. Ultimately, you will contribute to high-quality customer service and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Assist the sales team with accessing necessary information as it pertains to customers and/or products.
• Contact clients to obtain missing information or respond to queries.
• Assist in updating information in the CRM and the operating system as required.
• Develop and provide necessary sales reports for management and sales team.
• Work with vendors to ensure proper communication and data sharing is occurring to confirm payments/reimbursements are accurate and timely.
• Process necessary computations for compiling accurate commission statements for the sales team.
• Communicate important feedback from customers.
• Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations.
• Stay up-to-date with new products and features.
• Assist sales leadership with marketing initiatives, sales meetings, and customer events as necessary.
• Perform research into our clients’ industries and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding our reach to them in the digital space.
• Other tasks as assigned by sales leadership or president of the company.
• Assist in the development and implementation of customer satisfaction survey process to identify strengths and weaknesses of the organization.
Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent.
• Solid understanding and/or willingness to learn different marketing techniques, marketing computer software, and online applications.
• Hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel, Advanced level in particular).
• Understanding of sales performance metrics and best customer service practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Must be results-oriented and focused.
• Ability to work with all levels of internal and external customers professionally and build a high level of trust.
• A team player with a high level of dedication and goal-oriented.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and MEET DEADLINES!
