Sells new or used vehicles at a profit to the dealership, while ensuring customer satisfaction. This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential duties include meeting dealership sales goals, greeting customers and determining vehicle preferences, explaining features and demonstrating vehicle operation, suggesting optional equipment, computing and quoting sales prices including tax and discounts, completing sales paperwork, arranging delivery and registration, researching model availability, engaging in business development, addressing customer concerns, maintaining CSI at or above company standards, keeping a clean and safe work area, participating in required training, recording hours worked accurately, following safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrating company core values, complying with company policies and procedures, and observing all safety rules and regulations. Qualifications include a high school diploma, up to 3 years of automotive-related work experience, prior sales and/or customer service experience, a valid driver's license, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and web applications, effective communication skills, regular and predictable attendance including evenings, weekends, and holidays, physical ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit, ability to work indoors and outdoors including test drives, and strong verbal, writing, math, and reasoning abilities.
