Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close, selling VentureBeat’s suite of digital advertising solutions, custom content marketing, and event sponsorships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of VentureBeat’s value proposition, tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Drive new business opportunities and manage renewals and upsells for existing customers.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted partner.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine product offerings and seize new market opportunities.
  • Track and document all sales activities and client information in Salesforce (or similar CRM).
  • Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts to leadership.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas to contribute to the company’s continued growth and success.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of consultative sales experience in a B2B media sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong experience selling integrated digital advertising and marketing solutions.
  • Familiarity with the enterprise technology sector is highly preferred.
  • Experience selling event sponsorships is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous learning and personal development.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
