As a Sales Associate, you will create a remarkable in-store experience in finding sleep solutions by offering the best bedding products from leading manufacturers. The Sales Associate will execute Mattress Firm’s selling program that puts the customer first throughout the sales process, from the in-store environment to home delivery.

Your journey begins with extensive retail sales training that enables you to design and build a sleep system for your customer’s best night's sleep.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and drive sales by executing Mattress Firm’s exclusive Sales Program.
• Drive and track individual sales performance and goals while demonstrating company values and supporting initiatives.
• Assist in store merchandising and marketing programs to company standards.
• Maintain awareness of competitor’s advertising and promotions.
• Participate in training and activities to develop skills, competencies, and product knowledge.
• Inventory management
• Ensure the store meets company standards, reflecting policies and safety regulations.
• Mastery of POS system, opening and closing procedures, and balancing books.
• Participate in Company community outreach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year sales experience
• High school diploma and retail training required, Bachelor’s degree a plus
• 18 years of age or older
• Proficient in computers
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable standing for long periods; can lift or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; retail hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
