Location: Chicago, IL Role Type: Permanent / Full-Time Salary: $110k – $130k Position Overview In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting core financial master data and related system configurations within SAP S/4HANA FI/CO. You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, timely month-end processes, and effective handling of system changes or new requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and update Chart of Accounts, including related G/L and Cost Controlling master data. Oversee creation and maintenance of Company Codes. Provide support for General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable processes, including resolution of production issues. Assist with month-end close activities and execute foreign currency revaluations. Support ALE integrations between S/4HANA systems. Process and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Partner with business teams to gather requirements and deliver system enhancements across finance functions. Develop and maintain internal process documentation; deliver end-user training as needed. Conduct functional and integration testing for changes or new implementations. Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA FI/CO implementation and technical support experience. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, ERP/Financial Systems, Accounting Systems, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of core accounting principles and processes. Preferred Skills Ability to produce clear, detailed functional and technical documentation. Familiarity with IT/SAP project methodologies and change management processes.
