Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of students.
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment results.
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students.
  • Address students' learning and behavior problems, suggest improvements to classroom management strategies or parenting techniques, and evaluate students suspected of having a disability to help determine the best way to educate them.
  • Participate in special education by administering psychological tests.
  • Consult with other professionals about each student's individualized education program (IEP).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid PA State School Psychologist License is required.
