Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Senior Aircraft Technician (Mechanical) to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. You will be part of a small team that performs detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. You will also conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems as well as diagnose malfunctions or failures and make adjustments, repairs or replacements of parts or components. The role involves aircraft inspections (60%), system troubleshooting (20%), and compliance with FAA/NASA regulations and company specifications (20%). Additional responsibilities include participation in flight tests, customer interface for delivery, and shift flexibility including weekends and holidays. Required education is a High School diploma or equivalent with a preference for AA or Bachelors in Aerospace related field. Required experience includes a minimum of six years rotorcraft maintenance experience and a current FAA A&P license. The position requires 90% onsite work at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
