This is a field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division, focusing on innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for vascular disease treatment. The Senior Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure, covers the Manhattan/Long Island territory and is responsible for case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through. The role involves promoting Vascular products through education, service, and training of hospital customers, providing clinical education and sales support to achieve sales goals, increase revenues, and market share. The specialist serves as a technical procedure and product expert in hospital case coverage, focusing on Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff to support the Vessel Closure portfolio. Responsibilities include meeting with customers to identify clinical needs, developing hospital relationships, providing clinical support and troubleshooting, educating customers on product usage, attending clinical procedures to ensure success, responding to customer needs and complaints, and supporting the broader region as needed. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years of related experience, and ability to travel 50% within the region. Preferred qualifications include patient interaction experience in lab/operating room and relevant technical certification.
