Job DescriptionOur global client is seeking a seasoned Senior Copywriter to support their Travel and Lifestyle Services team on a 40 hour per week contract, through 2026. This role is ideal for a creative storyteller with a sharp editorial eye and a passion for travel. You'll be responsible for crafting and refining engaging long-form content, including 3-day itineraries and hotel spotlights, that inspire and inform our global audience.This is a hybrid role, onsite 2-3 days per week.Senior Copywriter Responsibilities:- Write and edit long-form travel content, including 3-day itineraries and hotel features.- Pitch fresh, compelling story ideas aligned with brand tone and audience interests.- Edit and refine existing content to ensure clarity, brevity, and impact cutting fluff and enhancing readability.- Capture the unique vibe of hotels and destinations, showcasing what makes each property distinct.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content meets brand standards and strategic goals.- Maintain consistency in voice and style across all content formats.Senior Copywriter Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of professional writing and editing experience, ideally in travel or lifestyle content.- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong grasp of tone and voice.- Proven ability to distill complex or verbose content into succinct, engaging copy.- Experience pitching editorial ideas and working in a fast-paced content environment.- Ability to creatively convey the essence of a hotel or destination.- Familiarity with digital content best practices and SEO principles.- Must be based in New York City or nearby, with ability to work onsite occasionally.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
