Senior Data Scientist (GenAI/NLP)

We have an immediate need for a Data Scientist (GenAI/NLP) to join our client for a 12-month contract position that will be 100% remote. This position will work hands-on with the latest multimodal LLMs, conducting experiments and deploying production pipelines that utilize generative models.

Location: Remote, Eastern Business Hours

This job expects to pay about $70-80/hr w2 plus benefits (Client is not open to C2C)

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers, designers, and project managers on interdisciplinary projects.
• Utilize mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and generative AI to extract structure and insights from raw data across diverse industry sectors.
• Work hands-on with the latest multimodal LLMs, conducting experiments and deploying production pipelines that utilize generative models (such as GPT-like models) for automating knowledge search, curation, and synthesis processes. This includes model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and iteration, enhancing creativity and content generation.

What Gets You The Job:

• 3 years of experience in AI or Machine Learning
• Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of NLP, Transformers, LLMs, and Generative AI
• Required experience with OpenAI s GPT suite, including previous experience with their multimodal LLMs: GPT4V, GPT4o
• Theoretical understanding of how LLMs can be leveraged to build classification models, re-rankers, and recommendation systems
• Strong programming skills: well-versed with building end-to-end data models and pipelines in Python according to the best engineering practices
