As a Senior Product Manager, you will work in a fast -paced environment with Innovation & Advanced technology, Research, UX, and world-class engineering teams - amongst others - to define and deliver audio products for elevated in-cabin audio experiences. About the Product As the Senior Manager, Product Management, Amplifiers, you will be responsible for driving global product management activities for Car Audio Amplifier Platforms. You will lead the product management processes and discipline for the Amplifier Platform team. Your responsibilities include capturing the voice of the customer, supporting new business acquisitions, anticipating industry trends, analyzing the competitive landscape, building value propositions, and setting amplifier platform strategies. Your Team While this is an individual contributor position, you will be expected to lead with influence and work across organizational boundaries with team members drawn from all relevant functions within the business. What You Will Do Lead global product management processes and discipline for Car Audio Amplifier Platforms, ensuring alignment with customer needs and identifying new business opportunities within the automotive market segment. Establish and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps and business cases for Car Audio Amplifier Platforms, including positioning, performance features, pricing, volume forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to fulfill the strategy. Analyze the competitive landscape and products, incorporating this intelligence into refining the Amplifier Platform strategy and plan. Collaborate with Harman’s engineering, design, marketing, legal, and UX teams to ensure successful product execution and alignment with business objectives. Partner with Product Marketing on value proposition, product positioning, and sales enablement, while supporting RFQ/RFI teams to drive product pursuit pipelines. What You Need Experience conducting market, technology, and competitive assessments to define market requirements including sizing up market opportunities, and customer and consumer insights. Experience guiding products from concept to launch by bridging technical feasibility, customer desirability, and business viability. Experience testing products in the market using structured frameworks and iterating quickly. Automotive HW/SW/Platform development processes and architectures Understanding and appreciation for UI/UX/ID considerations Experience with documentation and ticket management tools such as Aha!, Jira, and Confluence Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of Automotive Product Management experience in a matrix, global, cross-functional organization . What is Nice to Have MBA preferred Understanding in any of the following areas: Hardware and Software development processes, embedded DSP and MCU platforms, and automotive audio systems. B2B and B2C/B2B2C launch experience.
