Developmental and Cognitive Services Location: Waltham Area, MA Program Overview Would you like to work from home while making a difference in someone's life? Do you have an extra room in your home? Are you willing to provide care, a social and engaging life for a person with cognitive disabilities? Our Shared Living program matches adults with developmental disabilities with welcoming individuals or families in their community for long‑term, in‑home placement. The goal is to have the provider family integrate the individual into their home and community life. Riverside is there every step of the way to provide support to both the individual and the provider family. Over time, these new family members develop meaningful relationships and learn to be independent and active members of their community. Responsibilities Provide assistance with meal preparation. Transport the individual to medical appointments. Administer medication as needed. Offer a supportive, engaging environment. Benefits Tax‑free daily stipend.
