Job Description

Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting efficient product handling and shipment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Location: Highland, NY

Pay Range: $17 per hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm- No Friday's!!

What's the Job?

• Pick products and prepare them for shipment using RF scanners.
• Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Sort, count, label, and put away received inventory.
• Inspect shipments for damages or defects and report discrepancies.
• Process returns and maintain accurate paperwork for all transactions.

What's Needed?

• 1-2 years of prior experience required; we welcome entry-level candidates.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and pack heavy items.
• Familiarity with operating a dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in receiving items.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
