About the Role
GovMed Wellness JV is hiring experienced Site Security Managers (SSMs) to oversee security, compliance, audit trails, and operations of DEERS/RAPIDS workstations at two major ID card service centers. The SSM is a key personnel position and plays a critical leadership role in ensuring compliance with all DoD identity card regulations and system controls.
This is a supervisory, mission-essential role with direct influence over customer service performance and accountability metrics.
Responsibilities
As an SSM, you will:
Oversee RAPIDS workstation operations, security protocols, and system compliance
Manage user administration, consumables, CAC card stock, and accountability
Install hardware components and update system configurations as required
Review audit trail reports daily; identify anomalies or potential fraud/abuse
Maintain ID Card Office Online appointment systems and kiosk operations
Provide oversight and supervision of VOs
Conduct records validation, data accuracy reviews, and discrepancy resolution
Train and mentor staff; ensure certifications are current
Perform RAPIDS security overrides for fingerprint & document verification
Support government SSM on unit site visits
Ensure all operations meet timelines and measurable outputs
Report monthly workload and quality metrics
Maintain physical security checklists and compliance logs
Minimum Requirements
U.S. Citizen
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of specialized DEERS/RAPIDS CAC/ID card experience (required per PWS)
Must be fully certifiable as a Verifying Official (VO)
Must be able to pass a NACI background check
Strong supervisory or team-lead experience
Ability to interpret AFI 36-3026, AR 600-8-14, RAPIDS User Guide, and CPS
Excellent communication, accountability, and organizational skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to work Monday–Friday, 0800–1700, with occasional extended hours during deployments/redeployments
Highly Preferred
Prior SSM experience
Prior military personnel, S1, HR admin, DEERS/MPSD/RAPIDS experience
Experience leading teams in customer service or ID card operations
Experience with Government audits or compliance reporting
Strong familiarity with Army, Air Force, and DMDC identity systems
