H&R Block, the world’s leader in tax preparation services, is looking for a Senior Web Product Manager who will be responsible for working across a variety of digital web properties to deliver high-quality solutions to solve business needs across the organization. In this exciting role, you will develop web strategies and collaborate with a cross-functional team to execute best-in-class web experiences from beginning to end. This position is flexible but ideally located at our corporate headquarters, in the premier downtown Power & Light district of Kansas City, where everything is either steps or a streetcar ride away.

 

  • Develops, recommends, and implements web marketing plans and programs designed to advance our product and meet business goals, including growing revenues, clients, and profitability.
  • Works with a cross-functional team of UX, UI, SEO, IT, content, and other key stakeholders to ensure projects meet strategic objectives and timelines and incorporate web best practices.
  • Analyzes key performance metrics and develops and implements product and test and learn roadmaps to improve, modernize, and optimize websites.
  • Identifies key stakeholders, assumptions, and constraints to gain alignment and develop plans to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality metrics, and to determine alternatives to overcome obstacles and mitigate risks.
  • Prioritizes projects based on evaluation of short- and long-term benefits to the company.
  • Provides project briefs and requirements to internal and/or outside content and creative agencies for the development of landing pages, banners, marquees, sales pages, and web tools on H&R Block web properties.
  • Responsible for reviewing design documentation with development teams and QA and gaining approvals for creative deliverables from legal, SEO, and business leaders.
  • Owns successful execution of projects from initiation to implementation, communicates effectively, and works with a sense of urgency.
