Part-Time Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized part-time staff accountant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial reporting. This position is direct hire and will work approximately 24- 30 hours per week. Pay for this position will range between $23/hr. and $28/hr. depending on experience and education.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Support the preparation of tax filings and compliance reports.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
