TRC Talent is seeking a candidate for a full-time role with a global automotive EV manufacturer in Savannah GA.

• Develop, implement, and optimize stamping processes for sheet metal components to meet quality, cost, and efficiency targets.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for stamping-related defects and production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, quality, and maintenance, to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Support new product launches by coordinating tool and die development, conducting trials, and ensuring manufacturability.
• Define process parameters and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain process stability and consistency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting stamping presses, dies, and auxiliary equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Work with suppliers and tooling vendors to improve die performance and longevity.
• Utilize data analysis and simulation software to improve process efficiency and quality.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in stamping process engineering within the automotive or related manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of metal stamping, press operations, die design, and tooling.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA, or SolidWorks) and simulation tools for forming analysis.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of safety standards, ISO/TS 16949, and other automotive industry regulations is a plus.
