Department: Central Sterile Services
Hours: Full-Time/40 hours
Shift: This position is primarily Days, 1st Shift but is variable
Position Summary:
The Central Sterile Supply Manager is responsible for managing , directing, integrating and coordinating all aspects of sterile/medical instrument processing, equipment, supplies and services in support of the mission of Middlesex Health, ensuring a safe and cost- effective operation that is in compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three years experience in central services/sterile processing and or related O.R. experience
One year previous managerial experience in a processing service that supports a surgical service, general patient care service, and outpatient activity or equivalent
Sterile Processing Distribution certification (CRCST) by IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management) or CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) required within 2 years following completing new hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science or Business
5 years of supervisory experience
