As a Substance Abuse Counselor on the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, you'll work hands-on with clients who have mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders-helping them live more independent, connected, and fulfilling lives. What You'll Do: Guide clients in sobriety maintenance and prevention using 12-step programs & evidence-based practices. Plan and lead engaging community activities and support group participation (AA/NA). Create inspiring monthly calendars of resources & events to encourage recovery. Provide case management, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling. Support family/caregiver involvement and advocate for client needs. Be a vital part of a collaborative, mission-driven team! What We're Looking For: Bachelor's in Psychology, Human Services, or Addiction Counseling (or equivalent experience). 1-3 years working with mental illness/substance use disorders. Addiction certification (or eligibility to obtain). Valid driver's license & clean driving record. Strong independence, organizational, and documentation skills. Why Join Us?
