Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A regional educational organization is seeking a Substitute CPR Paraprofessional to assist students and staff in classroom settings during staff absences. The position focuses on student support, safety, and daily engagement.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Assist in implementing lesson and behavior-support plans under teacher supervision
Apply CPR and first-aid training as needed in student health or emergency situations
Provide individual or small-group instructional support and supervision
Assist with personal care, classroom organization, and transition activities
Maintain documentation of student performance and behavior
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
Valid CPR certification and current First Aid credentials required
Experience in classroom or special-education support strongly preferred
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Reliability and flexibility for substitute scheduling
