The Stockbridge Summer Analyst Internship experience is designed to be rotational in nature and will be project based with exposure to real estate professionals across the firm and to various commercial and residential property types. Summer Analysts will take on many of the responsibilities that full-time employees assume throughout various divisions of the firm to include acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management and/or operations, if applicable. Project scopes are determined by the current needs of the firm and coupled with the interest and experience of the Summer Analyst. The internship program will provide exposure to day-to-day operations of the firm and will culminate in a final deliverable(s) and presentation, which are expected to be valuable contributions to Stockbridge. The Summer Analyst will have opportunities to engage directly with Stockbridge leadership as part of one-on-one mentorship/career guidance meetings. Additionally, the Summer Analyst will be paired with an investment mentor who will be available to them throughout their internship. This is both a qualitative and quantitative position; strong math and written skills are necessary. Summer Analysts will receive a substantial amount of responsibility in a very entrepreneurial environment. Summer Analysts will be assigned to the San Francisco, Chicago, or Atlanta office. Summer internships will be 10 weeks long (early June thru early August), with these dates subject to change. Who are you? You must be a rising senior (will begin senior year in Fall 2025) enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in an accredited university with a strong academic background and a proven history of achievement. You also must have a demonstrated interest in real estate, finance, or business. Who are we? Stockbridge is a real estate investment management firm led by veteran industry professionals. The firm’s portfolio comprises assets across the investment risk spectrum, including core, value-added, and opportunistic strategies. Stockbridge and its affiliates have approximately $33 billion of assets under management spanning all major real estate property types, and certain specialty property types, throughout the United States. Program Highlights The Summer Analyst Internship program is a 10-week summer internship program, commencing in June. Summer Analysts may have the opportunity to work with multiple departments. A summer project will be assigned at the start of the internship, with a final presentation to be delivered firmwide at the conclusion of the summer program. Summer Analysts will be formally matched with a Stockbridge mentor. Summer Analysts participate in meetings. Summer Analysts may listen in on pipeline calls and investment committee meetings as relevant. Property tours may be part of the internship. Team travel to a property site may be part of the internship. Travel to/from the assigned office is covered. Compensation is competitive with other firms. Compensation Competitive. The base pay scale for this position is $30/hour in San Francisco and $25/hour in Chicago and Atlanta. Travel reimbursement may be provided.
