Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the delivery of patient care for OT, PT and Speech services. Ensures compliance with clinical patient care standards and established policies. Provides direct patient care within their scope of licensure. Responsible for creating and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external customers. Liaison with nursing, medical staff and other ancillary departments as necessary to ensure quality of care of the patient.

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills

· Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational or Physical Therapy or Speech Language Pathology with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or Doctorate in either profession. Demonstrate proficiency and competency in evaluation and treatment of patients, good organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

B. Experience

· Three years direct clinical experience; two years supervisory experience, recommended

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

· Must be licensed in the State of Texas as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist.

· Must be AHA CPR certified.
