Overview:

Our client, a prominent regional bank with a strong presence in the Tri-State area, is seeking a dynamic and experienced SVP of Private Banking & Wealth Management to join their White Plains, NY office. This individual will play a key leadership role in managing and expanding relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. The ideal candidate brings a successful track record in wealth advisory, investment management, and private banking within a retail banking or financial institution environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to HNW and UHNW clients, providing tailored financial solutions across banking, lending, and investment management.
• Manage the administration and servicing of complex personal and family wealth accounts.
• Collaborate with internal partners in retail banking, commercial banking, and trust services to deliver a holistic client experience.
• Lead and mentor a small team of relationship managers or wealth advisors, depending on experience.
• Proactively cultivate and grow a network of affluent clients through referrals, professional centers of influence, and strategic business development.
• Maintain a high level of regulatory compliance and fiduciary responsibility in all client interactions.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or retail investment management.
• Strong background in HNW/UHNW account administration, ideally within a banking setting.
• Proven experience delivering customized financial strategies and investment advice.
• Existing book of business or strong network in the New York City metropolitan area is preferred.
• CFP or CFA certification preferred.
